Kim is a mental health nurse specializing in adult and geriatric care, with more than 28 years experience in the field. She is a Designated Capacity Assessor appointed by the Minister of Seniors and Community Supports. She has extensive experience screening, assessing, and completing capacity assessment of vulnerable adults with suspected diminished decision-making ability, both in hospital and community settings.
Outside of her role as a designated capacity assessor her clinical work also includes evaluating decisional abilities in a medical/legal context.
